The Journey continues
Having run ACT 2 Drama School for nearly 21 years the dedicated team have always wanted to offer our services to children that don’t get this opportunity and having researched many charities I have found whilst although doing incredible work for people and children all across the globe nobody really goes in and just gives children the opportunity to be children which is what ACT 2 AID aims to do by offering all elements of performing arts to children and young adults globally.
Following on from the incredible experiences we had in Sri Lanka in 2018 with The Dust Project and the massive learning curve of working for a charity ACT2 Drama is in the early stages of launching our own charity ACT2 AID. As this is a long-complicated process, we
are beginning the journey by volunteering with SOS Children’s Villages International. We took a small team out in 2019 to Italy and have just returned from an incredible trip to Bali In Indonesia where we worked lived and entertained the children from ages 2 - 17 years. Please enjoy our photos

One Stage At A Time
Our aim To offer performing arts workshops for children and young adults. We are taking a small team out next year to SOS Children’s Villages International in Indonesia to run performing arts workshops. We need to raise £4,000 for our materials/ minibus hire and filming equipment. Please note all our flights accommodation and food is paid directly from each team member and the fundraising is strictly to benefit the children we are working with. We are all volunteers and do not receive any of the monies raised. So far we have hosted charity balls, swam, run, baked, ate donuts and many other fun filled crazy events to raise funds!How you can help If you are a business or school or even an individual and would like to help you can donate a prize for our charity fund raiser, sponsor our t shirts and kit, donate materials or allow us to run one of our events on your premises. Where It All Began
What started out as a one night fund raiser for ACT2 AID bloomed into our regular East London comedy club. Not only has the BOOM BOOM helped budding comedians try out new material it has also raised much needed funds for our next overseas trip. When the world starts moving again and we are all in need of smiles and laughter, The BOOM BOOM comedy club will announce our new dates and tickets site. In September 2023 ACT 2 Aid travelled to SOS INDONESIA with a group of ACT2 Academy students and parents to volunteer and offer performing arts workshops to the children in the camp. Please follow our journey.
